Storm surge levels exceeded 1 m (3.3 ft) from Shute Harbour to Mackay. The highest recorded water level reported so far is from Laguna Quays, where storm surge reached 2.75 m (9 ft).

Storm surge levels on the coast of Queensland, Australia have reached 2.75 m (9 ft) on Tue Mar 28, 2017. This is the highest recorded storm surge level in Queensland since Cyclone Yasi in 2011, and the 14th highest storm surge event on record since 1880.
